I'm currently enjoying a very tasty Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout, while watching Die Another Day. Maybe some Makers Mark or a gin and tonic next.

I really miss that stuff, even though Oregon is pretty much the Mecca of US craft beer, I sometimes find myself just wanting a good old Lager. But, alas, they do not distribute outside the east coast.

Earlier @ dinner, a pint of Dogfish 60 minute IPA (on draft) - a trusty local brew.

Now, I'm sippin' on a little Jack Daniels Single Barrel from a share of a barrel I bought.

Where am I ? At home sprawled on my "chil-lax" beanbag chair in front of the fireplace. After a long day outside, I deserve it.

The Yuengling is my go-to for every day thirst. It's cheap, and not too bad.

I leave the nicer stuff for when I only want to have one or two.

Their Pumpkin was the best (and I've tried more than my share). It tasted of real pumpkin while others merely tried to create the taste of pumpkin pie with spices. Today I picked up the Valhalla Red IPA and am looking forward to trying it.

How's the Dragon? Have you had many from the brewery? Are they hit and miss, or all quality?

I've tried both of the Pumpkin stout offerings (Dark of the Moon, and Night Owl) and they were delicious. Just tried the Dragonstooth and it's pretty good, no doubt an excellent example of what a stout should be, but not quite as good as the offerings from my favorite 3 breweries (Great divide, Stone, and Alesmith)
